We’re very pleased to make available another beautiful tea towel this year!
It showcases the work of Amina Iqbal, who undertook these illustrations of plants near The Hut for her Diploma in Botanical Illustration with the Society of Botanical Artists (UK).
Amina writes:
“Details such as the way a stem bends, how leaves sit along it, or the subtle changes in colour become much more noticeable when you spend time with a plant in its natural setting. It gave me a new appreciation for the plants growing right here in Brisbane and for how closely botanical art and observation go together.”
Made in Australia, featuring one of Amina’s illustrations, this limited edition tea towel would be a thoughtful gift for friends who live near and far. An everyday reminder of the beauty that can be found in the Brisbane, Mt Coot-tha Reserve.
