The Jane Scragg Bequest
This generous bequest specifically supports THECA’s children’s activities, in memory of former member Jane Scragg.

Brisbane City Council
THECA not only rents The Hut from Council, but receives both in-kind support through periodic maintenance, and help meeting basic running costs. through Council’s Environmental Grant program. THECA is also supported by BCC’s Habitat Brisbane program for bushcare activities.

Queensland Government
We appreciate the generous support of the Queensland Government for the ‘Eco-monitoring for environmental education’ project awarded in 2025 and administered throught DETSI.

THECA is pleased to acknowledge the support of the Australian Government through the Stronger Communities grant scheme, awarded in 2025.

Ausco Modular
Staff from Ausco (based in Redbank and Riverview locally) have kindly donated time to help out with weeding, planting, maintenance and cleaning at The Hut on four dates over the last three years, Thank you, Ausco!

Cubberla-Witton Catchment Network
Our neighbours at CWCN have been indefatigable in their revegetation work in the catchment. We are pleased to support them on projects such as the Cicada Park site and providing a base and workshops for Certificate I trainees in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.

Wildlife Queensland - Brisbane Branch
THECA has been very pleased to host the Brisbane branch of WPSQ for both their own and joint events in the last two years.
