Our mission

THECA’s aims are to:

• raise community awareness of environmental issues;

• take practical action to conserve and improve the local environment;

• conserve native fauna and flora, including caring for and releasing native fauna as appropriate;

• provide environmental information and education for the members of the association and for the wider community;

• provide activities and information on topics related to the well-being of the community and its environment;

• encourage participation in environmental and other activities by all members of the community regardless of gender, age, physical and intellectual ability, ethnicity or socio-economic circumstances to work with other environmental, educational and community groups to further the objects above.
