THECA visit to Samford Ecological Research Facility (SERF)

  • SERF 148 Camp Mountain Road Camp Mountain, QLD, 4520 Australia (map)

This is a special opportunity for THECA members to visit QUT’s ecological research facility in the Samford Valley - bequeathed to QUT by renowned Queensland entomologist Dr Elizabeth Nesta Marks AO. It serves as a centre for research and teaching across several Faculties.

We’ll walk the ‘Engaging Science Trail’, tour the Field Station’s facilities, engage with staff and learn about the collaboration with TERN to gather extensive environmental data at the facility. Bring along a picnic lunch we can enjoy after the tour.

Please wear enclosed footwear and dress for a ~2.5 km walk

The visit is free, but places are limited, please register here.
