Join us for this special WINTER meeting! Brisbane isn't the only city where vital tree cover is under threat - it's a global issue. Join us for a special event at which Kinya Shiraishi zooms in to share his important study of Tokyo's trees and their outlook. How is tree cover influenced by the city's topography, historical green spaces and social geography? How is tree cover changing and what are the main drivers? What can two very different cities - Brisbane and Tokyo - learn from each other's efforts to protect their urban trees?

Kinya has worked as a city planner and landscape architect in Japan and Chile.
