Home storage (a home battery) is becoming more and more popular and our speaker Simon English will explore a range of topics including what a home battery really is, what the various numbers (kW, kWh etc.) mean, and some of the different ways a battery can be used.

Australia's Simon English is a registered professional electrical engineer with 30+ years working in various industries, the last 15 in electricity distribution across Australia. His focus has been on consumer energy resources such as solar, batteries and EVs and how they integrate with the electricity grid. Active in the local area, Simon is also Vice-Chair of the Moggill Creek Catchment Group.
