In October we’ll have a special evening as we’re delighted to host as speaker the first recipient of THECA’s Research Student Scholarship - Angela Webb, pictured here with one of her study participants! (Angela’s talk was to have visited in September - but we brought forward Emma Hain’s GIS presentation)
Angela is nearly a year into her PhD study “The Role of Urbanisation on the Emergence of Reptile Fungal Pathogens in Australia”. (Specifically - the Eastern Water Dragon). She’ll outline the project’s goals and progress to date, which includes data collection at the Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens amongst other sites.
Refreshments at 7:00 pm, presentation at 7:30 pm., followed by Q&A.
Free for members, non-members are very welcome - any small donation appreciated.
