WHAT: THECA is teaming up with ACF Brisbane West* for an art event. Children from 5-12 are invited to create an original artwork (drawing or painting) of one of Australia's many threatened native animals or plants, along with a short, written explanation of their art work: see WILD @ ART.

You will have the opportunity to wander the trails around the Hut, explore the Hut’s resources and enjoy a snack and story on the veranda.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 09:30 – 12:00

WHERE: The Hut, 47 Fleming Road, Chapel Hill

WHO: Primary School Children (ages 5-12)

EXTRA Info:

• If you’ve started your own Wild at Art piece, bring it along to share and finish - otherwise paint brushes, paints, paper are provided.

• Bring your own water bottle and snack in a knapsack.

• Wear comfy clothes, enclosed footwear and a hat!
