Come along and help us revive this part of Cubberla Creek!

Our friends at CWCN have led the efforts to revive the Cicada section of Cubberla Creek, assisted by funding from the Federal government, and some great work by the Challenge Cert I environmental management trainees, as well as OCCA.

With previous upstream stages complete, we’re now on Stage 3 of this project, just north of Goolman Street.

The creek bed re-construction and initial planting have been completed, so the focus is now on ongoing upkeep, including weeding of invasive species as well as mulching and watering of recent plantings.
