Celebration of 20 years of the Butterfly Bushcare (Hilltopping) group Mt Coot-tha

It is hard to believe but it is now 20 years since the Butterfly Bushcare (Hilltopping) group began and we couldn’t let the occasion go unmarked.

On Sunday 23 rd November we are planning a small celebration on the Hilltop. Some of the earlier members and Group leaders will be present as well as current participants. Memories will be exchanged. Morning tea will be served, a cake will be cut. But please bring your own water bottle.

Date: Sunday 23 rd November 2025

Time : 10.15am for 10.30am

Place: Main hilltopping site, Reservoir Trail Mt Coot-tha

Directions: Park at the Reservoir Trail carpark, Sir Samuel Griffiths Drive, Mt Coot-tha. The carpark is 100m up the road past the turnoff to the kiosk. Then walk into the site. If you are unable to walk in, a vehicle will be available at the carpark at 10.15 am to drive you in. Or if you are feeling energetic, walk up the Honeyeater Trail and turn right at the top.

RSVP: If you do plan to come, please let me know. It helps with catering. If you don’t know in advance, just come.
