By completing and signing this form, the borrower agrees to the following

I will exercise all reasonable care to keep the equipment secure and to return it in good working order.
I will familiarise myself with any documentation that shows how to set up, use, troubleshoot and look after the equipment, and contact THECA if these resources are insufficient.
I will use the equipment only for the intended purposes of obtaining records of natural observations and data for public environmental education.
I will not use the equipment in any way that might compromise the privacy of any individuals. This is especially relevant to capturing digital images, video records or audio recordings.
Recordings of individuals to support a related environmental education project for THECA may be made only with the consent of that individual and after approval by a THECA Committee member.
I understand that all data and recording will remain the property of THECA and may be used for public environmental education.
I understand that THECA’s ownership of the records does not preclude my using them for related purposes (such as submitting records to appropriate data-bases, posting stories about data collection and interesting observations, etc., but I will discuss the type and timing of such use with THECA to ensure the greatest overall beneficial use, and I agree to acknowledge THECA in any such use.
I am a member of THECA for the period of use of the equipment.
